EcoRestoration Alliance

A way for planetary intelligence to know itself.

— after Carl Sagan

ERA² — the Ecosystem Restoration Atlas, and what it is becoming

Nearly five thousand restoration projects, mapped and made legible — a census of what is already working, curated from across the global field. That exists today. What it is becoming is larger: an Oracle of EcoRestoration — a place where the world’s restoration knowledge, Indigenous wisdom, and machine intelligence answer one question together: “How can we heal together?”

curated restoration projects — explore by place, biome, and method. Curated from many sources across the global field; a census, not a wish list.

Ask the map

Natural-language search over the atlas — questions in, grounded answers out.

The Oracle

Aligned guidance with humans in the loop: practitioner elders review answers, Indigenous-language access, the map as its grounding truth.

Oracle concept: a project-covered globe with a speech bubble asking 'Thanks for being here. Let's get to work! How can we heal together?'

Aligning three intelligences

Natural

The living systems that already regulate climate — the first intelligence, our first teacher, and the final metric of success.

Human

Elders, Indigenous knowledge-keepers, field scientists, restorers — lived knowledge in hundreds of languages, most of it never written down.

Artificial

Here, AI may lead: a tool for making planetary knowledge legible and for aligning machine intelligence with living systems rather than against them.

This is the work our science-of-purpose funders make possible. If aligning intelligences for planetary healing is your question too — talk to us.
